Job summary

Continental Properties is offering a Summer 2027 Construction Intern position at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. You will work with the Construction project team and gain hands-on experience across Preconstruction and Field Execution in our rental housing communities.

As an intern, you will support research on codes and permits, budget insights, site visits, and documentation management while learning from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Full-time during Summer 2027.
• Currently a student in an Engineering, Construction Management, or related program.
• Interest in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preconstruction research including codes, permits and fees.
• Assist with dry utility coordination.
• Help with early budgets and estimates.
• Visit active job sites and participate in inspection walks.
• Uphold code requirements and quality standards on site.
• Track project documents and assist with coordinating consultants.

Skills

Junior or Senior standing in Engineering/Construction Management or related program
