Job summary

Gray is seeking two interns for its MEP Department for Summer 2027. Locations are TBD and roles involve hands-on experience in industrial construction, maintenance, and operations.

Interns will support safety management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and project coordination, working with Project Management and Field Operations to gain real-world exposure in office and field settings while developing technical skills and industry insight.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable in both office and job-site environments.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Observe and assist with project safety efforts and documentation.
• Assist with cost tracking and basic project estimates.
• Support procurement activities and change-order processes.
• Learn to assist with scheduling and data tracking.
• MUST have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support key project lifecycle activities including safety management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and project coordination.
• Gain exposure to real-world construction projects in office and field environments.
• Assist in preparation of field reports and tracking data such as labor hours and productivity.
• Help review and organize job cost information and distribute project estimates.
• Coordinate communication with general contractors and owners under supervision.
