Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Communications Intern for the summer in Arden Hills, MN. You will be part of the Communications team, handling writing, project coordination, media relations support, and content creation across internal and external channels.

You will gain real-world experience with tools like SharePoint and Muck Rack while supporting diverse communications initiatives. This internship runs May 2027–July 2027 and pays $22/hr.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related major.
• Sophomore level or higher (Junior preferred).
• Strong writing and project management skills.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AP Style.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Prior internship or corporate work experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
• Experience with digital content creation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a variety of strategic communications projects including writing and content creation.
• Support project coordination and media relations activities.
• Assist with research, planning, and execution for communications initiatives.
• Create and manage content across internal and external channels.
• Help improve processes, tracking, and systems for the team.
