Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Intern in Arden Hills, MN for May 2027 to early August 2027. The role offers hands-on experience in corporate accounting and collaboration with finance teams.

The intern will participate in month-end close, reconciliations, process improvement, and support journal entries, gaining exposure to cross-functional partners and real-world business objectives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior, graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred, foundational accounting knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze information and solve problems independently.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Accounting Intern Pay: $27/hr Position Duration: May 2027 – early August 2027 Position Location: Arden Hills, MN

Responsibilities

Accounting Interns work directly with the business unit or corporate accounting teams.

• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with month-end close processes
• Prepare and review account reconciliations
• Support journal entry preparation and processing
• Collaborate with accounting team members and cross-functional business partners to support key business objectives

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior, graduating in December 2027 or May 2028
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles through coursework or related experience
