Job summary

The Summer College Internship Program at Lifetime Benefit Solutions, Inc. is a 10-week paid internship designed for undergraduate and graduate students.

Interns will be mentored by managers, work on meaningful projects, and participate in development workshops that cover core business concepts across multiple tracks, both technical and non-technical. Interns will have the chance to engage in diverse divisions including Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources,

Qualifications

• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop computing in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports the LAMA Team and interns in gaining a full picture of MedAmerica and LBS roles within the enterprise.
• Conducts regulatory research, prepares state filings, and maintains corporate records.
• Reviews policies and procedures, refreshing and documenting improvements.
• Completes work assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Creates and delivers presentations at internship completion.
