Job summary

Branch is seeking an Intern for our Summer Internship program in Roanoke, VA. We seek rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors pursuing degrees in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

The program provides a structured, mentored learning environment to build essential construction skills and professional habits. The intern will work with Preconstruction, Project Management and Field Supervision teams, interacting with

Qualifications

Currently enrolled college student pursuing a relevant degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Travel is required and a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Assist with actual responsibilities of Preconstruction, Project Management and/or Field Supervision teams with mentorship.
Interact with subcontractors, vendors and owners.
Participate in cost planning and scheduling, materials procurement, cost control, and quality management.
Prepare a presentation outlining their internship experience at Branch near program end.
Follow safety and security procedures and determine appropriate action steps.
