Job summary

Branch is looking for an Intern to join the Summer Internship program in Richmond, VA. We seek rising sophomores, juniors and seniors pursuing Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related degrees.

The program provides a structured, mentored environment to build practical construction skills for a successful career. Interns will support Preconstruction, Project Management and Field Supervision activities, interact with subs and owners,

Qualifications

• Pursuing Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Travel is required and a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support Preconstruction, Project Management and Field Supervision activities.
• Interact with subcontractors, vendors and owners.
• Assist in cost planning, scheduling, materials procurement, cost control and quality management.
• Prepare a presentation outlining the internship experience at Branch.
