Job summary

St. Charles Community College is seeking PB Project Support Specialists for its Summer Camp programs serving ages 5-14. The roles support camp staff and help with communications, recruitment, registration, scheduling, and classroom setup during the summer season.

Hours align with camp activities (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with variations). Ideal candidates are detail-focused, organized, and experienced working with children. Primary duties include assisting with forms, supplies, and student support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience working with children required.
• Must be detail‑oriented and organized.
• Professional communication skills (email, in person, phone, written) required.
• Trainings prior to start date: HR Orientation, KnowBe4 Safety Training, Summer Staff Orientation, CPR & Epi-pen, Mandated Reporter.

Responsibilities

• Providing support services to program staff.
• Assisting with internal and external communication.
• Recruitment and marketing.
• Assisting with registration processes and scheduling.
• Assisting with classroom setup and instructional needs.
• Collecting and verifying required forms/information.
• Assisting instructors with supply needs.
• Assisting with camp assistants training and support.
• Providing in-class student support as needed.
• Any other responsibilities that may arise.
