Job summary

St. Charles Community College is seeking PB Project Based Summer Camp Assistants to support Summer Camp 2027 at its Cottleville campus. You will work with a camp instructor to help with activities for children aged 5–14, in a 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule with possible extended hours.

Pay is $16.20 per hour. Applicants should be high school juniors or older, reliable and able to handle behavioral issues. Training will be provided on-site prior to start date.

Qualifications

• High school junior or older (16+).
• Punctual, responsible and trustworthy with confidential information.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic platforms (e.g., Teams, Outlook).
• Trainings required before start date (on-site): HR Orientation, KnowBe4 Safety Training, Summer Staff Orientation, CPR & Epi-pen, Mandated Reporter.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors and campers during camp activities.
• Support morning check-in/registration and end-of-day sign-out.
• Organize and restore supplies for camp.
• Escort children to meals and breaks; assist with setup/cleanup.
