Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks summer camp staff to lead groups of campers through daily programs that include Bible study, activities, meals, worship, and events. You will be a role model, devoted to excellence, and focused on developing kids to reach their God-given potential.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 with a high school diploma or GED, possess a passion for working with children, and are willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with elementary-aged children.
• Able to work Monday–Friday during the summer.
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead campers through daily program including Bible study, activities, meals, worship times and events.
• Share the Gospel when appropriate.
• Model SEL techniques and help campers express feelings.
• Maintain cabin safety and order.
• Communicate behavioral issues to leadership.
