Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance is seeking ministry-minded individuals for the Mentoring Alliance Summer Camps staff. The role leads a group of campers through daily programs including Bible study, activities, meals, worship, and events.

We value staff who are devoted to excellence, wholeheartedness, and developing kids to reach their God-given potential. This is a temporary, summer-only position with opportunities to model faith and care for families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age with a high school diploma or GED; some post-secondary training preferred.
• Passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children.
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish value.
• Able to work Monday-Friday during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Be present and engaged with assigned campers.
• Be open and ready to share the Gospel when appropriate.
• Assist campers in practicing SEL techniques such as self-regulation and expressing feelings.
• Maintain order and safety in assigned cabins.
• Communicate behavioral issues to leadership.
• Observe and enforce safety measures to prevent abuse and bullying.
