Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking a Camp Director to lead all Summer Camp operations with visible leadership and a focus on safety and member satisfaction. You will oversee program planning, customer service, marketing, and revenue tracking to deliver high-quality camp experiences.

Reporting to the Family Programming Director, you will manage staff, ensure health and safety standards, and foster a culture that puts children’s wellbeing first while meeting financial goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of childcare operations/management/supervisory experience.
• Experience creating and implementing innovative children’s programs or Camps.
• Love for children and extensive experience caring for children ages 2 to 15 years.
• Ability to train and supervise staff caring for campers ages 2+ years.
• Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities.
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
• Self-motivated, takes initiative and willing to acquire new skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Computer literate.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Summer Camp operations smoothly with visible leadership.
• Ensure children’s safety through continuous monitoring of safety and performance standards.
• Oversee camp operations including customer service, communication, marketing, program planning and revenue tracking.
• Manage the financial performance of the Camp through revenue targets, expense management, planning and forecasting.
• Enforce health and safety standards and HR/work safety practices.
