The Bay Club Company in Los Gatos, CA is seeking an Assistant Family Programming Director to oversee childcare operations across Childcare, Youth Center, camps, and birthday parties, ensuring safe, high-quality programs for members. The role emphasizes a welcoming, on-floor leadership presence and adherence to department standards.

You will lead staff, coordinate programming, and work with the Family Programming Director to drive initiatives, training, and member satisfaction in a dynamic club

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of childcare operations/management experience.
• Experience creating and implementing innovative children’s programs.
• Love for children and extensive experience caring for ages 6 weeks to 13 years.
• Ability to train staff caring for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and strong customer service.
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Enthusiastic, responsible team player with initiative.
• Well organized and detail oriented; computer literate.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage childcare operations smoothly through visible leadership on floor.
• Ensure children's safety through monitoring standards and ratios.
• Oversee staff on shift and ensure efficiency.
• Perform admin duties using Bay Club Connect, Zendesk, and marketing tools.
• Develop, organize, implement, and promote programs, camps, and parties.
• Enforce health, safety, HR, and work safety practices.
• Monitor staff uniform adherence and professional representation.
• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
• Participate in events, programs, meetings, and training.
• Represent the department professionally to members and staff.
