Job summary

Galileo Learning, LLC is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our summer camps for K-8th grade, serving as site General Manager and the public face of the organization.

You will open and operate a Camp Galileo location, manage a dynamic team of educators and staff, uphold program quality and safety, and deliver exceptional camper and family experiences from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with students in an education setting (out-of-school time, teaching, camps/recreation).
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven experience creating safe, inclusive environments for children and building trust with families.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling, staffing, and payroll.

• Lead a dynamic seasonal team of educators and entry-level staff to create joyful, safe environments and ensure smooth daily operations.
