Job summary

The Redwood Camp (RWC) Counselor at Mount Hermon Association Incorporated will model a genuine Christian lifestyle, ensure campers safety and well-being, and build friendships that foster spiritual growth through curriculum and activities.

You will lead small group Bible studies, assist in crafts, music, drama and group games, keep areas clean and orderly, and collaborate with the RWC Team. Must be at least 18 years of age and have CPR/First Aid before arriving at camp.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; 1 year of college experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certified (before arriving at camp)
• Previous experience working with primary and junior youth preferred.
• Prior experience in leadership roles in camp settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide discipline and guidance to campers for their physical and spiritual welfare.
• Collaborate with RWC Team in the implementation of a variety of camp activities and curriculum including but not limited to leading small group Bible studies.
• Lead and assist in crafts, music, drama, group games, etc.
• Share in the responsibilities of keeping camp areas including workspaces and supplies clean and orderly.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
