Job summary

The Alaska Club in Fairbanks South is hiring Camp Counselors for a fun, part-time seasonal role supporting kids ages 5-12. Join a dynamic team in a fitness environment with opportunities for additional Swim Instructor or Lifeguard hours.

Ideal applicants are at least 18, can pass a background check, and can lead arts, crafts, and games. Prior camp experience is preferred, and a flexible schedule is available.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to multi-task and lead group activities (arts & crafts, sports, games, etc)
• Prior camp experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervising and accounting for kids ages 5-12
• Ensuring the safety of all camp kids
• Supporting fellow Camp Counselors and cooperating as a team
• Standing and moving to facilitate activities
