Job summary

Camp Walt Whitman, a traditional sleep-away camp in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, seeks general cabin counselors for campers aged 8-15. The role develops child development, leadership, communication, and time management skills during the June 17th – August 9th, 2026 season.

Salary plus travel stipend, room & board provided; internship opportunities may be available to align with school criteria. This is a hands-on chance to gain practical experience in a supportive camp environment.

Camp Walt Whitman is a traditional, co-ed Summer camp in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire.

We are seeking general cabin counselors to work with our campers aged 8-15 for students pursuing ANY major – especially those in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or sports fields. This is an incredible job to help you gain experience with child development, group & time management, conflict resolution, communication, leadership and more.

Dates: June 17th – August 9th, 2026

Salary + travel stipend + room & board provided
