Job summary

An outdoor adventure program employer in Massachusetts seeks trip leaders for hiking/outdoor activities. This role involves leading day hikes and overnight trips for children, focusing on developing valuable skills such as leadership, communication, and conflict resolution. All majors welcome, with a special invitation to students in Psychology, Sociology, and Education. Compensation includes salary, travel stipends, and opportunities for room and board. We are seeking avid hikers to work in our outdoor adventure program as trip leaders. Hiking/outdoor trip leaders will lead day hikes in the White Mountains for children aged 8-15 and also lead overnight trips including 3-5 day backpacking traverses. For students pursuing ANY major - but especially those in the Psychology, Sociology, Education or Outdoor fields, this is an incredible job to help you gain experience with child development, group & time management, conflict resolution, communication, leadership and more.

June 6th - August 9th 2026

Salary + travel stipend + WFA certification + room & board provided
