$13.00/hr - $14.00/hr

Foothills Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center seeking Summer Camp Childcare Floaters to support our summer school age program (ages 5-12).

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CDA or higher, and the ability to pass all background checks. Previous childcare experience is a plus. This is a full-time, seasonal position from May 19th - July 31st. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a completed high school diploma.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $13-14/hr, based on education and experience

Hiring Process

3. On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans using current curriculum guides.
• Implement weekly lesson plans covering all areas of child development and communicate effectively with parents via our app.
• Build professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure the safety and emotional well-being of children, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Maintain child assessments and conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in November and May.
• Supervise children during field trips and off-site activities.
• Physical ability to work around children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Carry out daily classroom responsibilities related to child care.
