Join to apply for the SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR role at City of Greer, South Carolina.

The City of Greer is currently accepting applications for multiple Summer Camp Counselor positions in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversees and plans activities for youth, ages 6-13.
2. Organizes and implements games/themed activities related to the camp.
3. May be individually responsible for small groups of campers and/or participate in large group activities.

Job Requirements:

1. Applicants must be attending or graduated from high school.
2. Must be certified in CPR and first aid (classes may be offered).
3. Must be able to drive a City of Greer mini bus (training will be available).
4. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
5. Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
6. Must be able to work all weeks that the camp is open during the summer.

Hours: Monday - Friday, hours will vary between 7:15 AM – 6:00 PM; up to 40 hours per week.

Salary: $15.33/hour

Summer Camp dates: Must be available June 9 – August 1, 2024 (closed July 1st – July 5th).
