Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in San Jose seeks enthusiastic staff for a summer program serving 4-12 year olds. Shifts run 8:00 am–6:00 pm during camp dates, with setup/breakdown weekends and an orientation.

As a team member you’ll facilitate activities, supervise campers, and help create a safe, playful learning environment. Previous babysitting, teaching, coaching, or camp experience is valued; first aid/CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• Some staff will create/oversee activity spaces; others work in rotating support roles.
• Speak with local director to learn your specific responsibilities; activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, crafts, and more.
