Job summary

Steve and Kate's Camps is seeking staff to supervise and guide campers at a Portland location during the 2026 camp season. Shifts run 8:00 am–6:00 pm, with setup and breakdown weekends and orientation included.

The role involves facilitating activities, supervising children, and maintaining safe, engaging spaces for 4–12 year olds. Applicants should be at least 16 years old with 2+ months of camp-based experience and have First Aid & CPR before Day 1.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

• You may be asked to chaperone campers on an off-site Field Trip where locations demand.

Responsibilities

• Staff members will facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Some staff will create/oversee activity spaces; others will rotate in support roles.
• Activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and more.
