Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp is seeking staff to facilitate a variety of camp activities for children aged 4–12. You will supervise campers, help maintain safe and engaging spaces, and rotate roles with a creative team.

Ideal candidates are energetic, calm under pressure, and able to lift up to 40 pounds. Prior camp experience and First Aid/CPR certification are required before Day 1, with opportunities to chaperone field trips as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children; 1 year preferred (professional, personal, or volunteer).
• First Aid & CPR certification prior to Day 1 of Camp (additional certifications may be required at some locations).
• Consent to receive email or text notifications from Steve & Kate’s Camp.
• May be asked to chaperone off-site field trips where required.

Responsibilities

• Staff members facilitate activities, build connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Some will create and oversee activity spaces while others will rotate support roles throughout camp.
• Actively supervise campers.
• Maintain an organized and approachable activity space.
• Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
• Report and record details of notable concerns or incidents, including injuries to campers, other staff, or self.
• Track and be aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Add daily updates and photos to camper profiles.
