Job summary

Manulife John Hancock offers a summer Business Technology Internship designed to launch your career at the intersection of business and technology.

Based in Boston, the hybrid program runs June 1–August 12, 2027. In-office Tue–Thu, with remote Mondays and Fridays. You’ll work with Business Analysts and IT Project Coordinators to capture needs, create documentation, and drive digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights to support business decisions and project planning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and follow through on action items in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to our team of Business Analysts/IT Project Coordinators, accelerating the adoption of digital innovation across Manulife.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into clear, structured documentation such as business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and coordinate meetings to ensure tasks are progressing on time and within scope.
• Work with datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and create visual reports or dashboards that inform business and technical decisions.
• Organize and update key project artifacts including meeting notes, action items, risk logs, and process maps using tools like SharePoint.
