Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Business Analyst Intern for Summer 2027 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. The internship focuses on learning to become a Business Analyst by supporting Product Managers with documentation, quality control, and business analysis activities throughout the SDLC.

Successful candidates are pursuing degrees in CS/MIS/IT/Telecommunications/Business with GPA 3.0+ and strong communication skills. Outstanding academics (GPA 3.5+) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, Telecommunications, Business or related field.
• Cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to solve basic technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Learn to develop requirements using use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
• Learn to evaluate information from multiple sources and decompose high-level info into details.
• Collaborate with development and QA to ensure documentation is complete.
• Create and manage documentation for all stages of the SDLC.
