Excellus is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program in Buffalo, NY. Interns will work on meaningful projects, be mentored by managers, and attend development workshops focused on key business concepts.

Internships span tracks in Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other degree programs.

Qualifications

• Majors in psychology, social work, or human services.
• Experience with Customer Service, Presenting/Public Speaking, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word preferred.
• High School diploma and proof of continuous college enrollment.
• Strong communication and multitasking in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Provider Clinical Trainers to research and develop content for new provider training programs.
• Shadow Provider Relations Representatives, Case Managers, and Contracting staff.
• Prepare and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy.
• Attend development workshops and collaborate with mentors on strategic projects.
