Job summary

A youth sports camp organization is hiring coaches for summer baseball and softball camps in the tri-state area. This role requires candidates who are energetic, supportive, and capable of positively influencing youth. Coaches will ensure a safe environment, motivate campers, and execute training strategies, fostering a love of the game. Strong communication skills with children are essential. Qualified applicants should commit for 3-5 weeks, starting June 15, 2026. Pay rates vary based on experience, with positions available for all skill levels.

Qualifications

• Be prepared to commit Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours.
• Minimum 3-5 week commitment required from June 15 to August 21, 2026.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment.
• Manage and motivate campers for fun.
• Execute the Mets Baseball Camps Curriculum daily.
• Provide feedback during drills and games.
• Highlight teachable moments for campers.
• Work with team members from various backgrounds.

Experience working with children ages 4-13
