Job summary

A summer youth sports organization is hiring coaches for Mets Baseball & Softball Camps. Candidates will inspire children aged 4-13 while providing leadership and fostering a love for the game. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment, daily curriculum execution, and motivating campers. The commitment is Monday to Friday for multiple weeks from June to August, with positions available for various coaching skill levels. Pay based on experience: $17.25 to $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 4-13 is required.
• A background in coaching or playing baseball/softball at a high level is necessary.
• Dependable and reliable individuals are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp.
• Execute the curriculum daily under the direction of Site Director.

Skills

Experience working with children ages 4-13

Coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher

Passion for teaching and providing quality leadership

Ability to connect with children in one-on-one and group settings

Dependable and reliable
