Job summary

A leading sports organization is seeking passionate coaches for summer baseball and softball camps in the tri-state area. Ideal candidates will inspire youth ages 4-13 while providing a safe and enjoyable environment. Responsibilities include executing camp curriculum, managing campers, and fostering a love for the game. Positions available include Coach and Site Director. Competitive pay offered based on experience, with an emphasis on teamwork and positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must commit Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day.
• Execute the Mets Baseball Camps Curriculum.
• Provide feedback during drills and games.
• Highlight teachable moments for campers.

Skills

Experience working with children ages 4-13

Coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher

Passion for teaching and leadership

Ability to connect with children

Strong character and integrity

Dependability and reliability

Fun and energetic attitude
