Job summary

A summer youth sports camp is looking for energetic coaches for Mets Baseball & Softball Camps. Responsibilities include managing campers and executing the provided curriculum to foster a love for the game. Candidates should have a passion for working with children aged 4-13 and previous coaching or playing experience in baseball or softball. Positions require reliability, strong character, and the ability to encourage a fun learning environment. Compensation varies based on experience, ranging from $17.25 to $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must commit to a Monday-Friday schedule for approximately eight hours per day for a minimum of 3-5 weeks.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to camp sites.
• Must pass a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun.
• Execute the Mets Baseball Camps Curriculum.
• Provide feedback during drills and games.
• Highlight teachable moments for campers.
• Work with team members to uphold camp reputation.
