Emerson Electric Co. in St. Louis, MO is offering a Summer Audit Intern position to grow within a structured audit team. You will perform financial audits and SOX control reviews under supervision, ensuring GAAP compliance and adherence to corporate policies.

We seek students pursuing accounting/finance/business degrees with strong analytical and communication skills. The role includes travel and aims to convert to a Staff Auditor upon graduation.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
• Upon graduation, bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related field required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer term.

Mansioni

• Perform audits using a risk-based, process-focused approach that encompasses business strategy analysis.
• Report on control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value.
• Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement.
• Communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company.
• Position consists of approximately 15-25% travel within the United States and potentially international travel.
