Job summary

1st Source Corporation is seeking a Summer 2027 Audit Intern to join the Audit Team in South Bend, IN. You will perform audit procedures using established programs under supervision, test transactions, analyze controls, and prepare workpapers and notes. You will present a summary of your internship to the Chief Auditor.

The program runs 10–12 weeks, with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, on-site. This paid internship offers orientation and networking with senior management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
• Pursuit of a banking career is desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs audit procedures under supervision of Audit Manager.
• Tests transactions and analyzes supporting documents.
• Prepares detailed workpapers and discussion notes.
• Presents a summary of internship experience to Chief Auditor.
• Completes compliance training related to the position.
