Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC invites you to join its Audit Internship program in the United States. You will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career while working under multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.

You will apply accounting knowledge using firm technology, shadow Audit professionals at all levels, and participate in team training, social functions, and a marketing or research project.

Qualifications

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career.
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
