Job summary

Shine BrightX LLC is seeking a motivated intern to gain real-world experience in public accounting and develop hands-on skills across client engagements. You will collaborate with engagement leaders, seniors, and managers on diverse client projects and support planning, testing, and reporting.

On-site work includes traveling to client locations, building relationships with colleagues and clients, and receiving ongoing coaching and mentorship from seniors.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and engage professionally with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engagement leaders, seniors, and managers on client engagements across multiple industries
• Build foundational assurance skills through planning procedures, balance sheet and income statement testing, and audit reporting
• Support special projects and department-wide initiatives
• Communicate with clients and teams to keep engagements on track and ensure timely deliverables
• Engage in on-site client work by traveling to client locations as a valued team member
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients across the firm
• Receive ongoing coaching and feedback from seniors and managers
• Participate in networking events and activities to strengthen professional connections
• Work with a performance manager to set career goals and receive mentorship
• Learn from a buddy who provides guidance and support from day one
