Job summary

DLA Piper’s Corporate group seeks exceptional law students to join the summer program in multiple offices, including San Diego. You may be considered for a 1L position (2027 summer) or a 2L position (2028 summer).

As a summer associate, you will work on transactional matters, participate in pro bono opportunities, receive tailored training, and build your network through social events during the 10-week program.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Ability to produce deliverables, answer inquiries, and respond to correspondence.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates teamwork and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Work on transactional matters in the Corporate group.
