Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's Consumer & Retail Group seeks undergrad or non-MBA master's interns for a 10-week summer program. You will work on real client projects alongside CRG consultants, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to senior leadership.

The program includes onboarding training, hands-on mentorship, and curated networking events to build your consulting toolkit and career prospects within a fast-growth practice.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree or Non-MBA master's degree.
• Internship experience in consumer/retail, consulting, or finance-focused roles preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
• Strong analytical mindset and data fluency
• Detail-oriented with the ability to distill complex insights
• Creative thinker with a knack for building tools and solving problems
• Commercially savvy with exposure to proposal development
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Willing to travel up to 50% (Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities

• Spend 8 weeks embedded on real client projects—collaborating with CRG consultants and engaging with clients.
• Participate in 1-week onboarding bootcamp and training to develop quantitative and qualitative skills.
• Gain mentorship through hands-on apprenticeship and 1-on-1 coaching.
• Network with CRG and A&M professionals through events.
