Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) invites MBA students to apply for the MBA Summer Consultant Internship within the Consumer & Retail Group (CRG). The program emphasizes data-backed problem solving, structured thinking, and real client impact over a 10-week period.

Interns engage with CRG teams on high-impact projects and receive mentorship while developing a consulting toolkit. You will work in a fast-moving environment, collaborating with senior leaders, and gaining hands-on experience across growth

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree pursued; MBA enrolled.
• 3–5 years in consumer/retail-related business or consulting.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access; strong data handling.

Responsibilities

• Support CRG internship projects with data-driven analysis.
• Collaborate with consulting teams on client work and proofs of concept.
• Develop tools, methodologies, and approaches for problem solving.
• Assist in proposal development and client-ready documentation.
• Travel up to ~70% Monday–Friday as needed.
