APi Group's Information Technology team invites you to join as an Application Development Intern for Summer 2027 in New Brighton, MN. Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technology field.
• Strong interest in software development, application design, and solving business problems through technology.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, logic, and data structures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to work with business stakeholders.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn new technologies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges, user needs, workflows, and outcomes.
• Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Help design application workflows, user experiences, data structures, and features balancing user needs, value, and feasibility.
• Design and build an enterprise application using the OutSystems low-code platform.
• Develop and configure screens, workflows, business logic, integrations, and data components.
• Test functionality, resolve defects, and incorporate feedback from users and mentors.
• Work within a development team, participating in planning, updates, demonstrations, and reviews.
• Maintain project documentation including requirements, decisions, test results, and guidance.
• Participate in a friendly innovation challenge and communicate business value and future opportunities.
• Present the completed solution and development approach to APi Group IT leaders and business partners.
