Job summary

Northmarq is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Minneapolis, MN. In this in-office role, you’ll join the Information Technology department and contribute to a team that values collaboration, mentoring, and growth.

Pursuing Associate or Bachelor’s in IT/CS or STEM.
Previous internship or co-op is a plus.
Analytical, problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in-person at Minneapolis HQ.
Experience in OOP (C#, Java, C++, or similar).
Desire to learn new tech and collaborate.

Responsibilities

Design and develop test automation suites for various applications.
Evaluate test automation execution runs and maintain test cases.
Communicate bugs found during test automation to developers and resolve them.
Develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for web services, databases, apps, and tools.
Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code.
Collaborate on best practices, code reviews, and internal tools.
Create and maintain documentation for software, processes, and procedures.
