Job summary

Genius AI in San Francisco is offering an Engineering Intern role for Summer 2027. You'll join a live engineering team shipping features used by hundreds of thousands of service businesses and their clients, and you'll work on real production features rather than side projects.

You report to an engineering manager, must commute to our SOMA office, and will be in-office 3-4 days per week with attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or related field, graduating 2027–2028 with software experience.
• Experience using AI to learn faster, debug, and ship inclusive results.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to seek help when stuck.

Responsibilities

• Build and test features for web and mobile apps with senior engineers.
• Architect small automation pieces with AI to remove repetitive work.
• Write clean, production-ready code and fix bugs.
• Collaborate with data analysts to interpret usage data for AI improvements.
• Ship fast and iterate with AI-assisted development on a tight cadence.
• Expand technical range by learning new languages and tools as needed.
