Job summary

Genius AI is looking for an Engineering Intern to join a live team in San Francisco, summer 2027. You will work on real features headed to production alongside senior engineers and report to an engineering manager.

You will build and test features for web and mobile products, architect automation with AI, and learn to ship code in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. Must be commutable to our SF office in SOMA and in-person 3-4 days a week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, graduating between 2027 and 2028.
• Proficient in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or Kotlin, with real project experience beyond coursework.
• Comfortable picking up new frameworks and tools quickly, ideally with some exposure to React, Postgres, SQL, or gRPC.

Responsibilities

• Build and test features for web and mobile products alongside senior engineers.
• Architect small pieces of automation with AI, not just use it as an assistant.
• Write clean, efficient code that meets engineering standards and debug.
• Partner with data analysts to collect usage data and apply insights to AI usage across the product.
• Ship fast and iterate with AI-assisted development on a tight cadence.
• Expand technical range by learning new languages, frameworks, and AI-native practices.
