Heritage FS, Inc. in Indiana is offering a Summer 2027 internship as a GRWOMARK Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern. The role trains in general agronomy functions to learn the FS and GROWMARK system and prepares you for a future career.

Essential duties include hands-on agronomy work, facility upkeep, field visits, and operating crop monitoring equipment, with competitive hourly pay and a strong focus on safety and learning.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification in an eligible program and in good academic standing at internship start.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and travel, including overnight trips (CDL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visits FS locations and customers, building professional relationships.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gains understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
