Job summary

Talcott Financial Group’s Summer Actuarial Leadership Program is a ten-week, hybrid internship hosted at our Hartford, CT campus. Interns work Tue-Thu on site with industry professionals in Actuarial, Enterprise Risk Management, or Investments, tackling pricing, valuation, financial reporting and risk assessment.

Participants gain hands-on experience plus enrichment activities and a final presentation to our Chief Actuary, developing technical, business and leadership skills for a career in life

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or similar concentration.
• Eligible candidates entering sophomore year or beyond with a 3.5 GPA or better.
• Strong preference for passing at least 1 of the SOA actuarial exams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pricing, valuation, and financial reporting tasks.
• Support risk assessment and actuarial analyses during the internship.
• Engage in enrichment activities and present final project to leadership.
