Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center is seeking an Activity Specialist for its Beacon program in Manhattan. You will supervise groups of children across grades in activities such as dance, art, cooking, science and music, fostering creativity and social-emotional growth.

Schedule runs four days a week from June 22, 2026, through August 14, 2026, 12:00pm–6:00pm, up to 24 hours per week. Hourly pay ranges from $25 to $30, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of co-ed children by grade across activities (Dance, Cooking, Art & Crafts, Science, Dance, Music).
• Support social-emotional growth and create a positive, creative learning environment.
• Collaborate with Group Leaders to deliver engaging, supervised activities.
