Job summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center in Manhattan is seeking Activity Specialists to guide groups of co-ed youth in arts, coding, dance, drama, games/sports, music and storytelling after school.

You will work with Group Leaders to support social-emotional growth and provide a positive, creative environment for the social and intellectual development of all participants.

Schedule is 2–4 days per week, Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–6:00pm, from September 1, 2026 through May 28, 2027, at $25.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Work with a group of co-ed children in assigned activity areas (Art, Coding, Dance, Drama, Games/Sports, Music, Storytelling).
• Support the social-emotional growth of children through group work and collaboration.
• Provide a positive and creative environment for social and intellectual development.
