Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking Accounting internship students in Dallas to gain hands-on experience across revenue, accounts payable, fixed assets, and shared services. You will work with cross-functional teams on the monthly close, learn corporate accounting duties, and contribute to data analytics initiatives.

This paid internship offers mentorship and exposure to real systems. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Accounting or Finance, with strong Excel skills and a desire to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Preferably junior status as of Fall 2026.
• Strong computer and advanced Excel skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure GL accuracy.
• Analyze financial results for key drivers and variances.
• Handle revenue recognition, invoicing analysis, and settlements.
• Support monthly close with cross-functional teams across assets.
• Manage project lifecycles and governance documentation.
• Gain knowledge of accounting automation systems and apply learned skills.
