Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in Baltimore, MD offers a Summer Intern Program in accounting. This in-office internship provides hands-on exposure to key accounting processes as part of our home office finance team.

You''ll work on meaningful projects, learn from seasoned professionals and rotate through areas of Finance. Requirements include being a current student with at least two years of college in accounting or finance, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Current student with a minimum of two years of college completed, with coursework in accounting and/or finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, guidance and regulations.
• Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and solutions verbally and in writing.
• Intermediate computer and technology skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reporting deliverables as requested by Management.
• Participate in the monthly closing process by:
• Preparing journal entries
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Support and participate in special projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
