Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives seeks an Accounting Student Intern for the Summer of 2027. Preference will be given to candidates in their sophomore, junior or senior year in college.

The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable tasks, supporting internal audit projects, and assisting with records retention and audit schedules. Earned experience with financial analysis and additional duties will be provided as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college (sophomore, junior or senior) seeking internship during Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties related to invoices and expense reports.
• Complete various internal audit projects to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with records retention projects.
• Assist with preparation of schedules and work papers for the annual audit of the companies.
• Prepare financial analysis as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
