Job summary

Hendrickson invites a student intern to join the Accounting team for Summer 2027 at the Truck Divisional Headquarters in Woodridge, IL. The role focuses on AP, AR, fixed assets, and data maintenance while gaining hands-on experience.

The intern will support processing invoices, cash application, asset inventories, and master data updates; strong organizational skills and professional conduct are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and strong planning skills.
• Ability to meet and communicate with employees in a one on one and group setting.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is a must.
• Effective verbal and written skills mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
• Attention to Detail.
• Analytical & Mathematical.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable - Assist with processing incoming supplier invoices, coding, & entering.
• Accounts Receivable - Assist with daily customer invoicing & cash application.
• Fixed Asset Physical Inventory - Assist with on-going physical inventory of the fixed assets.
• Update federal ID numbers, remittance addresses, and tax classifications in the Customer & Supplier Master.
• Other duties as assigned.
