Job summary

CesiumAstro in Westminster, CO is seeking a Summer Supply Chain Intern to gain hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, and data analysis supporting our space hardware operations.

You will work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, collaborating with the supply chain team; current enrollment in BS/MS/PhD; proficiency in Excel; compensation and onsite location provided.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in BS/MS/PhD in supply chain management or a related field at an accredited university.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with indirect procurement activities to support the business operations.
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to the supply chain team.
• Track supply chain effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities.
• Assist with inventory management by supporting the tracking, monitoring, and analysis of inventory.
• Provide general administrative support to the supply chain team, including maintaining documentation, organizing files, and participating in meetings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), or PhD program in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Great project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is a plus.
